Recently, Instagram has introduced a new feature for teenagers who use their phone late at night, which suggests them to go to sleep.
The “Nighttime Nudges” feature is said to appear automatically, but it is not yet known if it will be activated for all teenagers or only those under 18.
“We want teens to get off Instagram, and we also know that sleep is especially important for young people,” Instagram announced.
The change follows a series of other features the social network has introduced to help teenagers and their parents control the time they spend using the app.
In addition to the Take a Break and parental control functions, Quiet Mode is one of the other functions that informs followers that you are not available for chat by activating an automatic reply to messages.
