Several people have been stabbed at the Gare de Lyon station in Paris, one of the most populated stations in the French capital.
According to the police, the attack that took place around 08:00 left one person seriously injured, while two other people received minor injuries.
The police arrested the perpetrator, a 32-year-old man, who, during the arrest, presented his Italian driver’s license to the police officers.
The causes of this serious event are still unknown. According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, the author suffers from mental health problems.
So far, no connection with terrorism has been established, while investigations have just begun.
