The car company Honda has recalled 750,000 cars in the United States of America due to an airbag defect.
The company has announced that the problem lies in the weight sensor in the front passenger seat, which can create a short circuit and does not give the correct signal to the airbag during an accident. Honda said it will replace the sensor in these vehicles.
It concerns the 2020-2022 Honda Pilot, Accord and Civic models and some 2020 and 2021 Honda CR-V and Passport models.
So far, no injuries or casualties have been recorded from this defect in the airbag, but Honda says that it has discovered the defect and is requesting the recall of 750,000 vehicles from the American market to correct it.
Also, in December, Honda recalled 4.5 million vehicles worldwide for fuel pump problems.
